Abstractions

These pieces are important to me. They are my first cohesive series of anything.

Starting with only a very vague notion of wanting to approach visual art for the first time; I wanted to see if I could make compelling pieces without any formal tuition, guidance or technique.

Using only supplies I could source from my local supermarket, and informed only really by my basic sense of design, the pieces became really interesting studies of line, form and colour.
